Governance

AI Policy

Principles that govern how Kaonic Ai systems are designed, deployed, supervised and retired.

01Human oversight

Every autonomous system operates within a defined safety envelope with a human able to supervise, override or halt operation. Full autonomy is never granted where life, liberty or livelihood is at stake without human review.

02Fairness and inclusion

Models are evaluated across languages, regions, genders and income groups. Where a system performs unevenly, it is corrected or restricted before deployment.

03Transparency

Users are told when they interact with Kaonic Ai, what data informs a decision, and how to contest an outcome. Automated decisions affecting individuals carry a human appeal route.

04Accountability

Each deployment names an accountable owner at Gatavase Corporation and at the partner institution. Incidents are logged, investigated and reported.

05Acceptable use

Kaonic Ai may not be used for unlawful surveillance, weaponisation, discrimination, disinformation, or any application that endangers people or violates fundamental rights.

06Environmental responsibility

We optimise models for energy efficiency, favour edge and solar-backed compute, and measure the footprint of every large training run.

07Continuous evaluation

Deployed systems are monitored for drift, degradation and misuse, with scheduled re-evaluation and a defined decommissioning process.
